How it works
We interview a multitude of candidates that have to show the right work ethic and ethos as we do. Candidates will then go through strict risk assessments and have to fit a tight criteria. All students will be trained in butchery, fish monger, general preparation, chef supervisory roles and all health & safety practices to name a few. Once qualified, we place the students in temporary, full or part time roles. Our clients hold all the rights to ask for a different member of staff if, in the unlikely event you are unhappy. Very regularly, the member of staff will be accompanied by one of our chef tutors free of charge where permitted (you get two for the price of one)
What we do
We offer clients short, medium and long term staffing solutions, whether it be planned or unplanned absences, events or a role that needs to be filled. Our candidates have to qualify through training provided by ourselves and have to show dedication and reliability before they reach your kitchen.

Our model takes serving offenders and ex-offenders that have the work ethic and determination but lack the opportunities the everyday citizen has. We then put them through a vigorous and intense training program that gives them the knowledge and skills to benefit your business. During this time we have qualified and experienced chefs that work one to one to aid each of our candidates.

As a business, we understand reputation is everything, so we only put forward candidates that will look after and enhance your reputation so that ours is also protected. We offer highly competitive hourly rates and fixed recruitment fees for permanent roles.
Our Chefs
Not all of our chefs are ex-offenders or are serving. Over the years gained in the hospitality industry we have a vast portfolio of only the best chefs that have decided to join our venture, full transparency is provided.
How the wages are paid
All offenders are paid above full living wage through the prisoners Earnings Act, of which, 40% will be contributed to the 'victims of crime fund' a charity based organisation that gives financial relief to victims.

Being a self funded model, our aim is to get employers to think outside the box.

All of our staff pay National Insurance contributions as well as contributing towards the treasury through tax, we also pay Employer's National Insurance Contributions and all of the costs related to employment.
Why should this be your burden?
It's not. Our candidates have been trained by experienced chefs and have been working in high pressure kitchens before they come to you. We ensure that only the most skilled and capable candidates come through your door, while we provide 18 hours a day, 7 days a week support line with experienced tutors ready to fill in if needed. While serving, our candidates have no other distractions and strive to outperform proving their worth. Our candidates are grateful for the opportunities they are given.

You're not the only one. You may not be aware but there are many large companies and organisations that have offenders currently working within their organisation. Some charities rely heavily on a volunteer work force of serving offenders to keep their every day operations running smoothly.

We only take people that show common sense, a desire to learn and a desire to move forward in their lives.
How do you sign up?
Firstly we will agree our terms of business. We will then request a site visit to audit your kitchen for Health and Safety purposes and we will provide a free risk assessment (unless you already have one.) You will just have to fill out an A4 sheet and then you are good to go.
